Our Work

How Can We Help?

I need help understanding my customers

Whether you’re just starting out or are far along in your journey, we can help you to better understand your customers. Companies require different customer knowledge at different stages. If you’re starting out you’ll probably need the ‘big picture’ of who your customers are and what they need. If you have established products and services we can help you find out how to improve them. And if you are thinking about growth we can work with you on who your future customers might be and how to approach them. We can get you started, or we can work with you end-to-end.

My company needs knowledge on customers in other countries

We have good news for you. Finthropology’s experts are used to working in all kinds of cultural contexts around the world. We use anthropological insights to brief you on your market of interest. We can also do ethnographic research to find out about your customers, no matter where they live. Our use of economics and culture creates powerful insights to help your company grow.

My team needs advice on how to develop a product, service or program

Do you have doubts about whether product, service or program is suitable for your target user group? Present your problem to us and we will investigate it using a variety of research methods and market knowledge. We’ll find out what’s likely to appeal to your target consumers, and deliver practical advice on how to design and positioning.

My organization has a specific piece of research that we need done

Finthropology’s team of experts have tonnes of experience doing research on all kinds of financial matters. Do you need to dive deep into a particular issue? We can carry out research for you and present the results in a variety of formats: internal briefs, presentations, workshops, or professional reports including infographics.

I need cutting-edge knowledge about changes in financial services

Financial services are changing fast. It’s confusing for customers and also for our industry. We can keep you up to date with the latest advancements in services (think blockchain, crypto, payments tools, robo advice), consumer behaviour (multichannel, decision-making, neuromarketing) and the future of the market. We can provide you with ‘cheat sheets’, internal briefings, and training sessions to keep your company up to date.

My colleagues and I would like training in customer insights

Contrary to popular belief, researchers aren’t the only people in a company who produce customer insights. Sales staff, marketing professionals, and even executives have (or should have!) opportunities to generate insights themselves. We can help your team better understand how to generate insights in their particular role and turn them into value for the company.

My organization needs to build its research capacity

Congratulations! Your company is growing, and your research capacity needs to grow as well. But who do you hire? A UX researcher, a research ops expert, a data scientist? How do you ensure that your research team’s insights are integrated properly into the company? We can advise you on how to develop your research and insight capacity.

We would like to develop an industry-university partnership

There’s a strong trend towards industry-university collaborations—and with good reason. Universities are excellent at producing deep knowledge. Industry is good at getting things done. But sometimes industry and academia struggle to work together because they have different approaches and languages. We have experience on both sides of the fence and can bring you together to create fruitful and rewarding partnerships.
